Extending Talent with PowerApps and Microsoft Flow (Real Case Scenarios)

Posted on

Microsoft Partners are still worried about the extensibility features provided by Talent, mainly because Talent is a locked application, for now. You can’t modify if you have AX background , you can’t modify it with CRM customization framework. You can only do things in PowerApps. This makes a lot of sense for Microsoft, thought, who tries to push (better said, force) partners to move towards CDS and PowerApps.

A great article was published on docs.microsoft.com, on March 4th, providing also some real case scenarios and solutions. Partners can now use Forms (and soon Forms Pro) to capture candidate assessments, capture results from course questionnaires, compile a library of interview questions for Human resources (HR) administrators or capture a candidate’s evaluation of the interview process and connect and store the results in a Common Data Service for Apps entity.

More, with these templates, partners will be able to send notifications to rejected candidates in Attract but also, by using Flows, alerts can be set up to send notifications for events that occur in Core HR, Attract, or Onboard.

All you need to do is to import the templates provided by Microsoft and import them in PowerApps.
